We have always sourced fine 1st Flush Darjeeling, but for almost 5 years I have been searching for a 2nd Flush
With this rare tea finally I have found a 2nd flush my Indian friend would have enjoyed!
Some of you will know we recently came across The Giddapahar Tea Estate. Giddapahar is a small tea garden that uses intricate care to produce small lots of precious tea.
Their 1st flush was so sensational we agreed to take a look at their newly-picked 2nd flush.
The first flush at Giddapahar produces bright green leaves akin to a fresh white tea. The appearance of this second flush is similar to a Formosa Oolong – mid-browns and orange leaves. The nuance and layers to this delicious tea are also like an Oolong. Bright and brisk
