Fog is our most popular green tea. It won a Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards.

Why ‘Fog’ Green? – We call our tea ‘Fog’ after the ever-present mist that envelops the tea garden. Located high up in the mountains of Hunan Province, the humidity and ‘wind around the clouds’ creates the condition for these wonderfully sweet leaves to emerge.

This is a hand-picked Green Tea from Xuefeng Mountain. To prepare this tea the leaf is roasted until water content is reduced to 5%~6%.

Each Spring farmer Fuliang Jiang picks the middle and small leaf tea from the tea garden. His garden is located in Bao Tian Village, 800m up the mountain.

1 review for Fog Green – Loose Leaf

There are teas which define why artisan tea purveyors are in a league of their own when it comes to a wonderful cup of tea.
I have been buying tea from Chash for a number of years and this has become a staple for me, it gently lingers upon the palette and it’s first impression is sweet and it is followed by a smokiness which remains.
It enlivens the senses and gently reminds me of why tea is like a fine wine only reveals it’s virtues to those whom have the time to appreciate them.
