‘Tie Luo Han’ bushes are found among the rocky cliffs of the Wuyi mountains in Fujian, China.
The name means ‘Iron Warrior Monk’ in honour of a warrior who, according to legend, created this immensely smooth Oolong.
Though baked to produce a thick, sweet liquor, Tie Luo Han is a highly refined Oolong. It is creamy and buttery, offering notes of honeysuckle and caramel.
We have sourced a light roast Tie Luo Han. Drinking it brings peace and you find yourself making cup after cup! The smooth aftertaste lingers long on the palate.
Cost Per Cup ~ 36p
